Our History

Since 2000, 24/7 Roadservices have been providing breakdown assistance to Australian motorists whenever they need us. Growing from a one van operation out of Newcastle, NSW, to hundreds of service providers across the country, 24/7 is there to provide the support required, whether it be for a flat battery, flat tyre, mechanical issues or key’s locked inside a car to name a few our services.

Our National Operations Centre has also changed over the years to a 24 hour, 7 day a week call centre, handling calls from all of our members and even offering emergency breakdown assistance to non-members.

Our plans have evolved over the years to provide greater inclusions and benefits for our members, such as accommodation and car hire benefits and ambulance cover.

Caravan, Motorbike, Motorhome and Mobility Scooters plans have expanded our memberships for those motorists that enjoy a few extra-curricular activities.

With our newly developed technology platforms, allowing integration for our members and retail partners and our new mobile application providing additional ways for members to communicate with us, 24/7 is focusing on continuous improvement through technology and membership benefits.

How We Work

Our dedicated team of Customer Service professionals are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide assistance wherever our members are. All of our memberships include:
Towing – Emergency towing can transport your vehicle to the nearest repairer up to the kilometre limits of your plan.

Flat Battery – We’ll either provide a jump start or arrange a battery replacement if available, to help you on your way.

Flat Tyre – We’ll change your tyre with your vehicles roadworthy spare tow your vehicle to a tyre outlet then service centre.

Emergency Fuel – We will deliver up to 10 litres (or approximately 50kms worth) of emergency fuel (unleaded petrol or standard diesel), payable by you at the time of your assistance. Electric or LPG vehicles will be provided with towing assistance

When you make contact with us we will verify your location and the problem you are experiencing and arrange for the appropriate service. We will confirm with our service provider and provide you with an estimated wait time. If there are any delay’s advised by our service providers, we will update you.

If you require towing, we will tow you to the nearest mechanical workshop or service centre within your plan limits. If additional kilometres are required, this can be paid directly to our service provider.

If you have a plan that includes accommodation and car hire allowances, these will be reimbursed with the supply of the relevant payment receipts.

Our goal is to get you back on the road as quickly as practicable.
